Your practitioners are expensive.
Their attention is worth more.
The real cost
A subscription is easy to see. The work you already pay for is not.
Every unanswered call, interrupted receptionist, repeated question, manual reminder and after-hours message has a cost — even when it never appears as a line item.
01
Missed appointments
The patient who rang, heard a voicemail, and booked with the clinic down the road.
02
Interrupted reception
The person who stopped mid-intake to answer the same question for the ninth time today.
03
Repetitive admin
Confirmations, reminders, recalls and rebooking, typed out again by hand every single day.
04
Owner attention
The calls, the rosters and the gaps in the diary that still find their way back to you at night.
Pillar does not need to replace your people to pay for itself.
It needs to give some of their attention back.

From inside the practice
More capacity doesn't have to mean more headcount.
Coverage when people are away, less repetitive admin, and room to grow — described by the people running the practices.

“As you grow, adding patients shouldn't mean adding the same amount of administration. What I like about Pillar is that it gives us infrastructure we can scale — consistent communication, workflows and knowledge without everything depending on another person being available.”
The biggest changes
01
More capacity
Increasing patient demand doesn't have to create the same increase in repetitive administrative workload.
02
Consistency at scale
Approved knowledge and workflows can remain consistent as the practice grows.
03
Less dependency
Routine communication doesn't depend on one particular team member being available.
More capacity doesn't have to mean more headcount.
As patient volume grows, so do calls, messages, bookings and interruptions. Pillar carries the repetitive work so your team can support more patients without administrative workload growing at the same rate.
- Fewer interruptions across the day
- Coverage when staff are sick or on leave
- Consistent patient communication
- Room to handle higher patient volume
- Admin that does not scale with revenue
- More human attention for patients
AI for the repetitive. Humans for what matters.
Give your team the space to be human again.
Getting started
From first conversation to your first Pillar-handled call.
No developer. No integration project. No three-month onboarding. The Launch Assistant walks your clinic through setup for your discipline.
Week 1
Set up, teach Pillar your clinic, and hear your first handled call.
01
Choose your tier
Set the scope
We look at a month of call data together and agree what Pillar carries first.
02
Tell us about the clinic
Launch Assistant
Guided questions shaped around your discipline, services, practitioners and intake rules.
03
Build your knowledge
The Pillar Brain
Pillar learns your services, fees, availability and policies. You review and approve every line.
04
Set the boundaries
Escalation and oversight
Decide what Pillar answers alone and exactly when a human takes the conversation.
05
Hear it work
Test the Front Desk agent
Call your Pillar number and ask real patient questions before a single patient does.
First 30 days
Listen, refine, and widen the scope.
06
Introduce it to the team
Go live with the front desk beside you
Your reception team knows what Pillar handles, when it hands over and where the conversation lands. We review real conversations with you weekly and tune the answers.
When ready
Connect Pillar deeper into your practice management system.
07
Integrate deliberately
Connect the workflows that have proven their value
You do not need a deep integration to start. Once the workflows are settled, our engineers assess your PMS access and scope the connection that removes the next layer of admin.
Start simple. Prove the workflows. Integrate what creates value.
Integrations
Keep your practice management system. Connect what creates value.
You do not need an integration to start. Begin with the conversations, learn which workflows matter, then connect the systems behind them.
01
Start with Pillar
No integration required
Get your Brain and your Front Desk agent working first.
02
Define the workflow
Show us what should happen
We map the repetitive front-desk work you want Pillar to take on.
03
Assess your PMS
Our engineers check what is supported
We review the APIs, permissions and connection options inside Cliniko, Halaxy, Splose and the rest.
04
Scope the connection
Build only what creates value
Where a connection is supported and worth it, we scope it with you before anything is built.
Integration availability depends on your practice management system, available API access, permissions and the workflow required. Any additional engineering is scoped with you before implementation.
The goal is not more AI. It is less admin between you and the patient.
FAQ
Before you start. What allied health clinics ask.
Will Pillar replace my receptionist?
No. Pillar creates coverage and capacity — answering when your team cannot, handling repetitive enquiries and capturing details — so the people you already employ spend more time with patients in front of them.
Will patients know they are talking to AI?
Disclosure is configured with you during setup, in line with your preference and your obligations. Pillar never claims to be a specific member of your team.
What happens when Pillar does not know the answer?
Pillar answers only from the knowledge your clinic has approved. Outside that, it does not guess — it captures the enquiry and hands off to a person using your escalation rules.
Can Pillar give clinical advice?
No. Pillar is a front desk, not a practitioner. Anything that touches clinical judgement is escalated to a human, every time.
Can it book into my practice management system?
Yes, where a supported booking destination is configured. Otherwise Pillar captures the request and routes it to reception for confirmation.
Can I change tiers?
Yes. Tiers are monthly and you can move up or down as your call volume and scope change.
What happens if we exceed our volume?
Nothing stops working. We contact you to move to the right tier rather than silently cutting off your front desk.
Do I need an integration to start?
No. Pillar can start handling calls, messages and routing without a deep PMS integration. We usually recommend proving the workflows first, then connecting the systems behind them.
How much does an integration cost?
It depends on the system and the workflow. Cliniko and Halaxy connections are Pillar Ready. Others are assessed, scoped and quoted with you before any engineering starts.
How quickly can we start?
Most clinics complete guided setup and hear their first Pillar-handled call inside the first week.
Security and governance are built into every tier.
Same architecture on every plan — clinic-controlled knowledge, AHPRA and HIPAA aligned handling, and clear boundaries around what an agent can say and do.
Security & governance →Not sure which tier fits? Send us a month of call data.
We will tell you honestly which tier your clinic needs — including if the answer is none of them yet.
